The roof rafters are installed, except for a very
small number in the middle of the roof.
The mechanical work (electrical, plumbing and heating/cooling) is well
under way, but will continue
through the week. This week we should see the roof deck being installed
and the roof eaves being closed in.

The view from the street, near the main entry, showing the nearly
completed roof rafters and the overhang.
The view from the southwest, nearly in front of the office/youth building.

The view from the 2nd level of the office/youth building shows the south
portion of the roof over the existing building is complete with rafters.
It appears that the
roof over the back portion is floating in mid-air. It is supported from
the corners by steel and short
filler walls will be built to close the space above the old flat roof.

The view from the alley shows the steel support of the roof and the
areas
that need to be in-filled yet, including the gable end.

The plumbing in the new men's restroom is roughed in.
The white pipes are the drains, the copper are water lines.
Wood blocks support the pipes to hold them steady in the walls.

Electrical lines are less obvious, but very important, of course.
Highlighted are a line for a ceiling light fixture hanging down
and a supply line running through a wall.

The heating ductwork is being built and installed in the renovation area.
The large rectangular section is a main "trunk", while the round
duct goes to
a ventilation outlet that will be mounted in the ceiling.
