Roofing is partially complete
- about 1/4 of the shingles are installed. Brick has arrived so the masons
can get started while the heating work inside continues. Window and door
frames have been installed, giving additional appearance of final form.

You can see the window frames and the door frame has been installed in the
narthex wall.
The door frame is the familiar arched-top doorway that was installed by
the old pastor's study.
The doors are inside, ready for installation.

This is the south wall, facing the Annex (Office, Youth Area) and the door
frame and
window frames are installed here, too.

The view from the southwest shows the south slope has its tar paper in
place, ready for shingles.
Below you can see the 1/2 of the north slope is shingled and the starter
strip installed on the other half.

From the alley, you see not only the covered roof, ready for shingles, but
the
gable end wall has been built and covered with Tyvek© housewrap.

This is the confluence of several roofs. The slope to the right is the
sanctuary. The
flat area with the air conditioner is the old pastor's study. the rest is
the new flat roof
area of the addition - the Narthex and the corridor behind the sanctuary.
in the lower left you can also see the sloped roof of the addition. The
shadow in the
middle is the dormer on the northside of the addition's roof. The answer
to the mystery -
it's an access door to the roof.

This is a stairway to the attic area over the new addition and the Sunday
School wing. It is located over the stairs that come from the basement,
behind the stage.
It will be used only for storage.
The left photo below is the attic area
over the addition, while
the right photo is the attic area over the existing Sunday School wing.

Insulation has been installed in the ceiling of the addition, below the
attic floor,
to assure we keep our utilities as low as we can.

The brick is on-site now - it's going to take a lot of it. As you can see
on the right, it has the irregular qualities that has become associated
with the building with the existing brick.

The stairs at the annex weren't planned to be replaced
until after all the construction was completed. However,
the condition of them deteriorated so much that they were dangerous.
They have become and emergency project and are ready to pour.
