Rock on! No, it's not a roll
and roll music mantra here - it's drywall time! The "rock"
(sheetrock) is being installed. That means that the rough plumbing,
electrical and ventilation installations are all complete. The roofing
material has been installed on the flat roof of the addition, over the
narthex and the inside has dried out so the drywall is not in danger of
water damage from above. Brick work continues in the gable ends of the
roof while roofing work also continues.

This is the nursery and the graphic below shows the angle of the photo -
the red arrow being the direction the photo was taken.

The blue arrow shows the direction of the photo below of one of the new
classrooms.
This is another classroom, as shown below. The odd colored drywall is
"greenboard", which is used in areas where water may be present,
as it is more water resistant. A sink will be located there.

The flat roof material is in place on the new addition. The edges still
need to be finished, but it's dry. The material remaining is for the the
renovation of the flat roof areas we already have.
.

The alley-side gable end is bricked, blending in quite well with the
existing brick.

The new entry has a roof and has its shape now. Even some of the red paint
is applied.

The narthex walls have insulated and are ready for drywall. Below is the
south end of the narthex area, with the hallway into the Sunday School
area.
