April 2, 2006
Initial coats of wall paint
has been applied, sealing the drywall and the finishing compound. Roof
work is also being completed in additional areas of the flat roof. We
should see masons return for the brick work this week and cabinetry
arriving.

This is the nursery, look back toward the hallway leading to it. In the
center of the photo is a restroom right in the nursery for added
convenience for little children.

The hallway in the middle of the addition is painted with a primer coat.

The renovated old Sunday School wings also have paint. This used to be
choir room.

The hallways in the old part of the Sunday School wing are also primed.
Notice the rainbow paint is gone (though peeking through the paint just a
little).

Going on down the hallway into the Sunday School area leads us into the
narthex,
which also received its primer coat of paint.

Even the new wall built for the relocated south door is painted.

The door for the access to the roof from the attic is now installed and
the trim is painted.

The short wall section between the flat roof and the sloped roof has
siding on it and is also painted.

The Flat roof over the hallway, between the sanctuary and the Sunday
School wings has a new membrane on it. This section had been leaking in
the old Sunday School are and then down to Fellowship Hall causing ceiling
tiles in there to fall.
The flat roof on the alley side seems to have some new
membrane laying in place, but needs completion, will is awaiting the
installation of the limestone capstone.
