The steel is starting to go up. The main roof support over the existing Sunday School wing has been erected and the steel members for the new Narthex are starting rise. The final preparations for the concrete slab floor are being worked out, while the backfilling against the foundation is also being completed.

The peak in the background is the new roof over the education wing. In front of that is the beginning of the framework for the narthex, which will have a flat roof.

The new roofline is emerging as the main structural support is built over the existing wing.

The green material is the vapor barrier that will be under the concrete. The white pieces sticking up through it are pipes for the plumbing in the new addition. These must be installed before the concrete is poured.
